Salvia mellifera

Medicinal Preparation
Infusion: 1oz of leaves per pint of boiling
water poured over the herb. Let steep for at least 5 to 10 minutes then strain. Aids indigestion.
Decoction: 2-4 ounces per pint of boiling
water for 15 to 20 minutes
Tincture: FLOWERING HERB. Tincture [Fresh, 1:2,
Dry, 1:5, 50% alcohol] 30-60 drops, in hot water (diaphoretic)or cold water (tonic).
